Roma sealed its roster with the signing of “Kanguroo” Travis Passier. Born in April 1989, the Australian middle blocker played in the last World Championships in Italy with his national team and counts 34 caps. Passier has already played in Europe with Marienlyst in Denmark.
“I have seen Passier in the World Championships in Modena in group C with Russia, Puerto Rico and Cameroun – explained coach Giani – He made a very good impression, although he’s young and lacks experience. But I am convinced that he will get better and better alongside Bjelica and Lebl and will give us a good hand”.
