Besides the games on Rai, the Serie A will now launch games in live streaming on the web. The first one of this ambitious project on Internet will start this Sunday with Castellana Grotte versus Vibo Valentia and Latina versus Monza.

The channel will be Sportube.tv, which you will be able to reach through the Italian volleyball league site (www.legavolley.it). This is a partner with proven experience, gained with the live games of last September’s World Championships in Italy, which marked the launch of this new Internet platform specialised in live sport in Italy.

“The Italian Volleyball League Serie A had already put together an excellent television coverage – said a satisfied President of the Lega, Diego Mosna – Besides Rai, Sportitalia, Eurosport, ESPN Brazil, Al Jazeera and Bwin, we wanted to conquer the web too, the new frontier of live sport, in which we really believe. I’d like to thank our partner Sportube and the televisions of the the Lega, which collaborate on the production and commentaries of the games. We’re going to have a great coverage of this end of Serie A1 Sustenium season: our aim, although we are in an experimental phase, is to give the fans the possibility to follow all the playoff games, both thanks to Rai’s coverage and the alternative in streaming. As always, we give special attention to our foreign followers: the fans from abroad will be able to watch games on TV and others through Sportube”.
