Sustenium Plus’ energy for the Serie A
Just a few days away from the 67th A1 and A2 league, Menarini OTC renewed its partnership with the Italian Volleyball League and remains the Title Sponsor with SUSTENIUM PLUS for the second consecutive year.
“We are particularly happy to celebrate our partnership again with Domenico Simone, GM of the Menarini Pharmaceutic” said Diego Mosna, President of the Italian Volleyball League “It will be our title sponsor and this year again we will do everything possible to valorise it”.
Championship presentation. Super Cup and V-Day venues revealed
The presentation of the 67th Serie League will be broadcasted at 10pm on Rai Sport. There will be many interviews registered in the morning in Bologna from important people such as Diego Mosna (League president), Carlo Magri (Fipav president), Domenico Simone (GM Menarini Pharmaceutic), Massimo Righi (CEO Italian League), Radostin Stoytchev (Itas Diatec Trentino coach), Mauro Berruto (Italian National team coach), Hristo Zlatanov (Piacenza captain) and Paolo Montagnani (Fidia Padova coach).
A press conference also took place in which the venues for the Super Cup and V-Day (league final) have been revealed. Cagliari will host the Super Cup on November 1st, while Milan will host the V-Day on April 22, 2012.
President Diego Mosna: “First of all we’d like to thank coach Mauro Berruto and all the boys of the National team for the second place obtained in the European Championships. This place on the podium will bring energy to the Serie A league, which is expected to be extremely competitive, interesting and full of emotions”.
“This is not only a great result for the sport but also for the image of our country abroad, which we really need right now” said Domenico Simone, GM of Menarini Pharmaceutic.
Fipav President, Carlo Magri: “I told the boys after the final it was a success anyway, but the next day I was feeling really bitter. Disappointed because I knew how strong the national team is. But disappointment and joy have to be put aside now, we have to look at the future, which is bright”.
Coach Berruto: “Looking back at the videos, there are many feelings put together. We could find thousands of reasons for having lost the final but let’s keep this great result, this pride, motivation and World Cup qualification. I will personally keep in mind the image of a team that has grown 3 or 4 years in one night”.
Other hot topic, the Italian Under 23 “The Under 23 Selection is an initiative of the Italian Volleyball League, helping the clubs find a way to make their youngsters work in an important period of the year in which they used to stay out of activity”.
