FIVB Club World Championship 2011


Trentino chasing third title


 


The Club World Championships is just a few days away and it will be in Doha, Qatar, for the third consecutive year. On Saturday October 8, the action will begin in the Aspire Zone Hall, and the two-times champion, Trentino, will try to retain its title for the third consecutive year. Trentino’s first game will be on Sunday 9 against the Egyptian team of  al Ahly (African Champion). The other team of the draw are Al Araby Doha (QAT) and Sesi San Paolo (BRA).


 


The formula


The teams come from 4 different continents. There will be two groups of 4 teams, which will meet from the 8th to the 12th of October. The top two of each group will meet in the semi-finals.
