The Olympic qualification tournament initially scheduled on January 2012 in South America has been cancelled.
The decision was taken and communicated by the Argentine Federation, which announced the event would take place in May 2012, at the same time of the other continental tournaments.
“I am particularly happy with this news – said Diego Mosna, president of the Italian Volleyball League – That would have a been a real problem for our clubs to lose some of their players for a whole month”.
