Verona sealed its roster for the 2011-12 season with the signing of young Dutsch spiker Thijs Ter Horst. Born in September 1991, Horst will play for the first time in Italy after three seasons in his home country with Landstede Volleyball Netherlands, Webton Twente Netherlands and in 2010-11 with Langhenkel Volley.

“Horst is a 205cm tall young player who has gathered experience both at club level and with the youth national teams – said coach Bagnoli – Despite his size, he moves well on court and we think he can be a good alternative to Kromm, and that he can give us a good hand in training with his ability to attack and to block”.
