Macerata will begin the fourth week of pre-season training with one more player: the latest signing Jiri Kovar. The latter, was one of the last ousted of the Italian national team that will take part in the European Championships.
“We have established a different planning of physical work for him than for the other three athletes, who have trained four weeks with us after having had a break – explained athletic trainer Merazzi – Kovar has already worked two months with the national team and he will only be allowed to line up for the team only from the round 4 of the league. This date is therefore the focal point of this planning”.
