Latina is the first finalist of the Imbimbo Memorial. It had the better of Castellana Grotte in spite of losing the first one by the minimum margin. Prandi’s team will face the winner of the A2 clash between Atripalda and Corigliano. Latina played some good volleyball, there were even some spectacular plays at times against the newly promoted side in the A1.
“Being a first one, there were obviously a few too many mistakes – said Stefano Patriarca – But I have to say that we reacted well after the first set, with intensity and fighting spirit, I am happy with the attitude we had. Considering it’s the first one, it went well but we need to improve our level of play and understanding between”.
