The Perugia team is back from Poland where it played three games in three days. Among these, it faces the Champions League runners up of Belchatow twice, in a first friendly and then in the final of a tournament.

“It’s been very useful because we played three top level encounters – said coach Kovac – Two of them against Belchatow, one of the absolute best teams in Europe. Overall, I’d say we played pretty well. I can be satisfied with these three days spent in Poland. Besides, spending three days all together greatly helped the group to get to know each other and form a unit. Now we have to rest, on Thursday we’ll face another extremely tough test against Macerata. I think playing against stronger teams than us can only play to our advantage”.
