Monza played well and defeated Verona in the inauguration of the season in its PalaIper arena.
“It was a good test – said Thomas Beretta – We have a good team, we work well in every area of the game. We feel we’re ready to get going in the league”.
“I am extremely happy because the official debut of the team was a great celebration – said sport director Claudio Bonati – We’d like to thank Verona for taking part in this event in a pre-season period which is not easy. Our team was focused from the word go and played excellent volleyball”.
Monza’s next game will be away in Capo D’Orlando for the league opener.
