The Italian League stays on Rai Sport
The Italian Serie A and Rai Sport announced they reached a two-year agreement that will give Rai Sport the exclusivity on Italy’s live league and cup games until the end of the 2014-15 season.
This is the third consecutive two-year contract between the League and Rai as the collaboration began in 2009 and went through all the recent technological innovations.
“We are particularly proud to have handed the live games of our teams to the people who made the most of our league to make it important – said League President Diego Mosna – Rai said it was extremely satisfied with the TV audience which never ceased to increase. We know how to create great entertainment and there’s no better way to offer it to the fans for free that with the professional support of RAI Sport”.
