PAST ENCOUNTERS: 18 (11-7 Verona)

Andrea Giani (coach Calzedonia Verona): “We’re getting ready to face a difficult game. Latina is a team built to stay among the best in the league. They have top quality athletes in the roster. The fact they are bottom of the league does not matter at this time of the year. In my opinion, they are getting better and becoming more dangerous. This will be a tough test, we’ll need to play at our best in order to get the result we want”.

Daniele Sottile (Andreoli Latina): “This is a crucial game for us because our league position is not exactly brilliant. We’ll try to win it. It won’t be easy because they’re playing good volleyball but we have to do our best to take some much needed points”.
