In Bulgaria, Piacenza gathered another 3-0 victory which sends them top of the Champions League Pool A, tied with the French side of Tours, defeated by Ljubljana yesterday.

Luca Monti (Coach Copra Elior Piacenza): “We did not have the best approach to the game, we got stuck at the net and we served poorly, we failed to convert easy points. Thanks to the substitutions of Vettori and Papi, who came on for Le Roux and Zlatanov, we managed to catch up and then win the set. Dupnitsa did not react too well to the first set lost at the death, and that influenced their game. Then, we played well thanks to an excellent De Cecco, who distributed the game very cleverly and wisely on every single ball”.
