The memory of Roberto Lobietti was honoured in the best possible way by Piacenza and Ravenna, which competed in the third edition of the memorial dedicated to the unforgettable coach from Ravenna. The runners-up of the last championship prevailed but Ravenna was splendid, forcing a tie-break despite falling 2-0 down early.
“We started off a bit tense, making mistakes – explained coach Bonitta – We were probably worried to face such a strong opponent. But we bounced back and played good volley until tiredness took over in the tie-break. Overall, I’ve seen some rather interesting things, some good individual performances, I am optimist for the future”.
