Trento’s sixth week of pre-season training ended with a 3-0 victory in a friendly game played home against Verona. The two teams had met on Wednesday in the AGSM trophy in what had been a very tight contest. This time, the Italian champions made clear of which was the superior team. Setter Sintini did well to serve his teammates who finished the game at 60% in attack. Very positive factor the only two blocks conceded, while Trento inflicted 9 to their opponent, 5 for Burgsthaler. Ten aces too, with 4 from Szabò.
“It took us a while to settle in the game, we only found our rhythm in the second set – said coach Serniotti – But overall I am satisfied with what the boys have done. The reception was especially good, Thei did a great job of substituting Colaci, who was rested”.
