Yesterday afternoon, just two days after Luca Vettori was named best spiker of the European Championships, there was the award ceremony organized by the Italian volleyball league for 2012-13. Piacenza is the club that received the most prizes, all A1 and A2 teams included. Luca Monti got the best coach award as he led the team to the Challenge Cup triumph and league final; Luca Vettori and Matteo Piano were named best U23 players respectively of the A1 and A2, while the club received the Jimmy George award given to the best supporters, representing the most the image of fair play.
