In the award ceremony for the 2012-13 season organised by the Italian Volleyball League, Città di Castello received two special prizes. Coach Radici was named coach of the season and Matteo Piano best Under 23 player in the A2 division.
“I am delighted, this is a presitigious acknowledgement – said the coach – This news comes before the league starts, on the eve of a new season and that motivates me to keep doing better”.
Matteo Piano is over the moon too “I did not expect it, I couldn’t be happier. This is amazing, I really didn’t think I could get this prize, this is also a responsibility now, there were so many great young players”.
