Monza competed in its second outing of the pre-season yesterday against the Austrian side of Innsbruck as Bonetti made his debut as starter. The final outcome was a tie-breaker in favour of Innsbruck but Monza can be satisfied with the performance of its players, especially Puliti and Padura Diaz, who will certainly be two big offensive threats.

“We had a decent game on the serve – said assistant coach Roberto Di Maio – We did make a few mistakes but remained effective in that department. As for the combination block-dig, we have just begun to work on it in training”. Nex week, Monza will travel to Verona for a friendly game on Saturday (5.30pm).
