In the last few hours before the transfer deadline, the club added Mauro Gavotto. Now there is just a libero and a spiker missing: so far there is the experienced middle blocker Forni, spiker Randazzo, the German setter Steuerwald, the Spaniards Trinidad and Villena, the Argentine Crer, Slovakian spiker Ogurcak and the youngsters from the youth department: Presta, Sardanelli, Scopelliti and Thiaw.
“Given the crisis there is I feel lucky to be in such a serious team – said Gavotto – I will do my best to repay the faith the club has put in me. The team is brand new, we’ll need time to gel, and one of the reasons why coach Blengini chose me is that I have been in the Serie A1 for years and my experience could be useful to the youngsters”.
