Middle blocker Aidan Zingel is off to Australia as he had not been home for a whole year. Recently injured on his left shoulder, he had stayed in town longer than the other foreign players in order to complete his rehabilitation. He will now spend a bit of time with his family before joining the Australian national team that will take part in the Asian Volleyball Championships in September.
“Ciao Italia! I’m off to Australia but before going I want to thank all the people that helped me during this season – said Zingel – I really appreciated all the support. I’ll see you in four months”.
