Handing the key of the team is never an easy decision, it has to be thought over carefully but so far Molfetta has never got it wrong. They have always brought in quality and very much appreciated coaches and this time will be no different with the appointment of home-grown Vincenzo Di Pinto. The 56-year-old who was born in Turi was one of the first coaches in the emerging Macerata team, making it into the league semis as he inserted players like Meoni and Zorzi in the roster. He also spent five years in Taranto in the A2 and had a spell with the Spanish national team, receiving the “Most Creative Coach In the World” award during the World League 1998. Most recently, he worked at Taranto again, Perugia, Vibo and Castellana Grotte, which he helped to promotion on the A1.
