League final begins
Perugia and Macerata are ready for it. The final series will begin in Osimo on Thursday April 24. This will be Perugia’s first ever appearance at this stage (The Perugia in the final 2005 was a different club). While Perugia made it through a deciding game 5 against Piacenza, Macerata had qualified by sweeping Modena in three games. Macerata won the title twice so far, in 2006 and 2012.
