One of the main stars of Reggio’s brilliant start of the season in Brescia was Emiliano Giglioli. “Giglio Block” stood out once again with an incredible 8 blocks as he tallied 13 points and collected the MVP award in the 3-0 victory.
“The perfect game? I don’t know, numbers have their limits – said Giglio – But I am surely delighted to have helped the team win. If we had lost I’d have taken the stats and thrown them in the bin. The team is the only thing that matters. I think we can be satisfied with our game, the beginning was not brilliant, we were very tense, useless to deny it. But we got better as the game wore on. I think this victory will give confidence to the group, we’ll be able to work in good spirit towards the coming games”.
