Andrea Mattei committed his future again to Padova for the 2014-15 season. Born in July 1993 in Marino, near Roma, in the last two years he helped Molfetta and Padova to promotion in the top division. He will be remembered by the fans as the one scoring the winning points in the A2 cup triumph last season.
“I am over the moon – he said – I arrived last year in Padova full of ambition. I knew I would have had to work very hard to make myself noticed and I think I made the most of the opportunity I got through the year. Playing in the A1 with the Padova shirt on will be a special feeling”.
