Vibo Valentia won the De Giorgi memorial plays in Alberobello by defeating Castellana Grotte at the tie-break. Led by a superb Mauro Gavotto who scored 28 points, Vibo came back from 2-1 down to lift the trophy aloft. As for Castellana, the excellent performances of Morelli and Libraro were not enough to win it.
