The Champions League 2015-16 will kick start on Thursday 5 November with a big game at home against the Belgium side of Maaseik. Funnily enough, Trento’s last victory in the competition was precisely against Maaseik (3-1 in February 2014). The Italians will be without the Slovenian Tine Urnaut.

“We’re going through a difficult period not only because we’ll need to play many games in quick succession but also because we have some problems with our line-up – explained coach Radostin Stoytchev – This is why the only thing that will matter will be the three points. Maaseik is a quality team, they have excellent players with experience who have played in the Italian league in the past like Wijsmans, Bontje, Raymaekers and Pinheiro. To tell you the truth, I wanted to have some of those in my roster a few years ago”.
