Monza carried out its first day of training together with the German giants of Friedrichshafen. A friendly game is scheduled tomorrow at 3pm.
The Friedrichshafen roster is composed of setters Tischer (GER) and Kocian (SLO/GER), middle blockers Nalobin (RUS), Honorè (TN) and Glinthor (GER), spikers Aciobanitei (ROM), Joventino Venceslau Luis Fernando (BRA), Geiler (FRA), Gontario (ROM) and libero Spath (GER).
Both teams are without important players because of international commitment. The German champions are missing their outside hitter Finger (CZ), middle blocker Gauna (ARG) and libero Perry (AUS), while Monza is without outside hitter Renan (BRA), setter Jovovic (SRB), middle blocker Verhees (BEL) and spiker Rousseaux (BEL).
