US setter Micah Christenson received a special welcome by the fans on his arrival at the club. Winner of the World Cup with the Northern American national team, he received the best setter award.
“I am really up for this new challenge – said Christenson who took tons of pictures with the fans on the day he was officially unveiled to the media as new Civitanova player – Civitanova is a beautiful place to live in, and everybody has made me feel at home so far. This warm welcome from the supporters motivates me even more to give everything I have on my first time on the other side of the ocean. I have watched games of the Italian league on TV so I know how tough it is. And the Champions League too, another prestigious competition I’ll take part in”.
