Alessano came out 3-0 winner over the B1 side of Leverano in front of a hundred supporters (25-19; 25-23; 25-19). A fourth set was played and won by the hosts 15-11. The team initially lined-up should be the same that will start in the league: setter Pellegrino, outside hitter Jeliazkov, spikers Cernic and Bolla, middle blockers Piscopo and Torsello, and Bisanti libero. The first set was excellent with very high percentages in attack and reception, then the tired legs made themselves felt and after two sets there were more substitutions.
“I am rather satisfied because we have put into play all the things we could at this moment given that the boys are tired due to the intense work we’ve been doing – said coach Bramato – I have already noticed a good feeling between certain players, even if there is still a lot to work on. Next week will be another intense one athletically but then we will slow down and focus more on our game until the start of the season”.
