There are three weeks left to the transfer deadline. Time for Cantù to make its move. The club will keep setters Gerosa and Groppi, liberos Butti and Rudi, and the middle blockers Monguzzi and Robbiati.
In the meantime, the first new face for the upcoming season is Nicola Tiozzo. Born in Chioggia in 1993, the spiker came up in Treviso’s youth ranks and played last season for Reggio Emilia.
“I chose Cantù because this is a serious club – said Tiozzo – People only have nice words to spare regarding the club. I talked to the coach and I immediately felt his faith. I am one of the first to sign but I am sure the club will put together a competitive roster”.
