Piacenza’s season has officially kicked off. Zlatanov and co have 8 weeks of pre-season training ahead of them before the opening league game of the season scheduled at home against Milan on October 25. The first friendly will come on week 3. Coach Giuliani managed to come for the opening day in spite of his job with the Svlovakian national team, he will leave the guidance of the squad to his assistant Camperi in the next few days. President said the aim this season will be “to do better than the last and maybe clinch a playoff spot”. In the meantime coach Giuliani said he “strongly believed in this project of a reborn Piacenza”.
