Starovic, the new Verona outside hitter in numbers

Sasha Starovic is no newcomer to the Italian league. He has played for five seasons in the Lega for a total of 106 games. He scored 1610 points (64 in the Italian cup). Physically strong and tall (207cm), he finished top scorer in 2011 with 492 points (4.82 per set). As for 2014-15, he finished second in the scoring chart behind fellow countryman Atanasijevic. He scored a total of 465 points, which represents an average of 4.79 per set. Among those points, he registered 32 aces and 38 blocks. His best game was back in February when he led Latina to victory on the road against Molfetta with 37 points and 61% in attack.
