Young setter Giannelli looks back on a season that ended on Monday in the semi-final Game 4 defeat at home against Modena: “For me it’s been a more difficult season than the last because that was the first one as starter. I think I did my job the way I was meant to, without falling under the pressure and to do that my teammates helped me a lot, they never pointed any fingers at me. I think for example of the support and help I received from Bratoev. It was a good year, I think I improved a lot and I was able to do well thanks to the quality we have in the team. I think it was a bit of a ‘silly’ way to come out because we had our chances. But we did not make the most of them and Modena, as a great team, too full advantage and punished us. But I am proud of what the team did in seven months. We played three finals in four competition. We did not manage to win them, but I am convinced it is better to play these games than watch them on TV”.
