Grottazzolina will face a real tour of Italy during this 2016/17 season in the Serie A2. The team will cover 3770 kilometers in the first phase alone.
“I think Spoleto is the best team of our group – said coach Massimiliano Ortenzi – Not only did they keep some of their best players from last season to be back-ups and now they have added players like Monopoli, Romiti, Brazilian spiker Joventino, all very strong for this division. Behind them, all the teams look good to me but I find it hard to find the strongest ones”. As for Grottazzolina, they kept players of last year’s historical season and they added the likes of Federico Moretti, Federico Fiori and young guns like Sideri, Cester and Brandi. “The fact we know each other and have already a style of play fairly consolidated will help us. We’ll need to make the most of this advantage”.
