Second to last week of preparation with a welcome return for Allianz Powervolley Milan in view of the start of the new season 2022 – 2023. Coach Roberto Piazza and his staff were able to join the four national teams back from the World Cup, Japanese Yuki Ishikawa, Jean Patry from France, Agustin Loser from Argentina and Milad Ebadipour from Iran.

The four athletes regularly attended the various training sessions with their teammates and are ready to give their contribution during the last two weeks that separate them from the official start of the season: the team is now complete. Two weeks after the start of the SuperLega championship, the Allianz Cloud opens its doors on 2 October at home for the match against Top Volley Cisterna, the free sale of tickets for which starts today (free online sale at www.midaticket.it).

The work of the staff continues at a fast pace and the week of appointments for the Allianz Powervolley promises to be challenging: Wednesday joint training at 15:30 with Nizza at Powervolley Academy while this weekend the athletes under the orders of coach Piazza will move to Montichiari to face the Astori Trophy which will see the participation of Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, WithU Verona and Volleyball Padova, in an important two days to evaluate the team and the level of play in view of the debut against Cisterna. The first match of the tournament will be played on Saturday 24 September at 5:30 pm and will see Allianz Powervolley Milano play against Verona, while on Sunday 25 September the finals for 3rd-4th place and 1st-2nd place will be played.
