The old and new players, led by Captain Colli, left the Pala Parenti at about 6.30 pm, remaining available to those present for about an hour, including selfies, encouragement and lots of smiles. In reality the team group met in the morning to face the first weight training session under the watchful eye of the trainer Giulia Petrelli and the technical and physiotherapy staff: on the gym floor the coaches Mastrangelo and Bulleri, the director of the sport. Pagliai, the scout Morando, the “physio” Sergi and Battistoni. Also present at the Palazzetto is the psychologist, Dr. Giorgia Tanturli. Two absent: the Croatian Tino Hanzic, who was granted a few additional days of rest after the summer commitments with his national team, and the young Edwin Arguelles Sanchez, engaged in a boarding school in Zocca (Mo) with the Italian Under 20 national team. The others were present, starting with the confirmed Acquarone, Colli, Giovannetti, up to the new ones: Compagnoni, Favaro, Loreti, Maiocchi, Morgese, Motzo, Truocchio, Vigil Gonzalez. The young Brucini, Gabbriellini and Rossi, under the red and white Serie B, joined for the entire preparation phase with the first team. In the afternoon the group carried out another training session, this time with a technical background, at the end of which the actual presentation took place. The representatives of the institutions intervened, first of all the Councilor for Sport Simone Coltelli, the “media”, with Teletruria 2000 in the front row for a special edited by the journalist Maurizio Zini, and many fans of Curva Parenti, immediately generous with advice and encouragement for their old and new favorites.
