The start of Itas Trentino-Emma Villas Aubay Siena on Sunday at the BLM Group Arena (6 pm, first round of SuperLega), will be preceded by a particularly significant moment for two of the great protagonists of the previous Gialloblù season. On this occasion Alessandro Michieletto and Angelo Lorenzetti will in fact receive the Serie A Volleyball League Awards for the 2021/22 championship.
The Trentino Volley coach was in fact chosen as the best coach, thus winning the “Costa-Anderlini” Award for the fifth time, while the left-handed spiker again won recognition as the best Under 23 in the SuperLega. For him it is even the third “Badiali” Prize; he had won the first two years ago but in that case referred to the Serie A3 championship.
An award will also be given to Giulio Pinali, opposite of Emma Villas Aubay Siena, who in this case will receive a souvenir plaque directly from Trentino Volley for the last splendid season spent in the yellow and blue jersey.
