They were two of the protagonists of Sunday’s victory against Monge-Gerbaudo Savigliano (3-2) on the 1st day of the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship. Captain Andrea Innocenzi and MVP Tommaso Barotto comment on this winning team debut.
Captain Andrea Innocenzi: “What a fantastic evening, what a great match and even though it was long I enjoyed and we enjoyed ourselves. It was really exciting to start this way. I was expecting a good match because in any case, despite the various injuries in the pre-season, we always trained well, to the maximum, and it showed in the match. Obviously this is really only a starting point, we must continue to work. I tell my teammates that they have been really good and that we must continue to cultivate this understanding. But if we won, most of the credit goes to our fans who, as always, were our seventh man on the pitch. It is a privilege to have fans who are there to support us even in difficult moments. What can I say but thank you and I hope they will continue to trust us ”.
MVP Tommaso Barotto: “Satisfied is the first word that comes to mind. The adrenaline that was on the pitch and the crowd cheering us on at every point are hard to forget as the first game in Serie A and are the best thing about this match. It was wonderful. I was hoping for a debut like this which is undoubtedly the result of the great work we do in the gym because without that we would not be able to do what we did. We must continue like this ”.
