The vice president Filippo Maria Callipo welcomed the athletes and staff of the 2022/23 Tonno Callipo Volley.
After a brief presentation on the centennial history of the company, the visitors were guided in the production departments to discover all the processing phases of the Callipo tuna, from the unloading of the fish to the steam cooking, from the selection of the steaks to the meticulous cleaning, and to the selection of the slices, up to still manual potting and sterilization.
A process completely based on the philosophy of “Quality First”, which the Callipo family has handed down from father to son since 1913 and which has allowed the company to establish itself, even outside national borders, as the undisputed protagonist in the tuna and canned fish market. .
