Pietro Bonisoli returns home: the libero from Brescia will wear the jersey of Atlantide Pallavolo Brescia
Atlantide Pallavolo Brescia is pleased to announce the arrival of Pietro Bonisoli, a libero from Brescia who will wear the white-and-blue jersey for the 2026/27 season. A young addition, but already rich in experience at the highest levels of Italian volleyball, he brings enthusiasm, technical ability, and a strong sense of belonging to the local community to Brescia.
Born in Brescia on February 11, 2005, at 182 cm tall, Bonisoli took his first steps in Lombardy volleyball before joining Gamma Chimica Brugherio in 2021, where he made his debut at a very young age in Serie A3. His skills subsequently opened the doors to the SuperLega with Rana Verona, a club where he played for the next four years and continued his growth, competing daily with some of the best players on the national and international scene.
Despite his young age, the new libero already boasts a truly impressive resume. In 2022, he won the gold medal at the Under-18 European Championships with the Italian national team, subsequently becoming a permanent fixture in the Italian youth teams. Last season, he also won the historic SuperLega Italian Cup with Rana Verona, a prestigious national trophy in the history of the Verona club.
For Bonisoli, this represents a return to his roots and the chance to represent the city where he was born and raised, an opportunity he embraces with particular pride and motivation.
Pietro Bonisoli’s comments:
“I am very happy and honored by this opportunity. Playing for my hometown team is a great privilege. I can’t wait to start training again wearing the Brescia jersey. I wish myself, my teammates, and the management a year of results and great fun. I also send greetings to the fans, whom I expect to see in large numbers at the gym. See you in the gym.”
