Less than two weeks to the first official moment of the Trentino Volley men’s 2022/23 season. The start of the pre-season preparation of Itas Trentino is in fact set for the afternoon of Tuesday 9 August at the BLM Group Arena in Trento; in all probability by that date there will be few players of the new squad already available to Angelo Lorenzetti: Captain Matey Kaziyski will be the only element of continuity with respect to the recent past, since with him there will be only new faces: Donovan Džavoronok, Domenico Pace, the returning Gabriele Nelli and the young man promoted by the Niccolò Depalma youth league. All the others could probably be involved with their respective national teams, although to have actual confirmations we will have to wait for the calls for the next few weeks by the selections of Italy (Seniors and Juniors), Belgium and Serbia.
In the first period of activity the group will therefore undoubtedly be aggregated about ten elements of the junior squad who will play again in the Serie B Championship with the UniTrento Volley shirt from October.
The technical staff who will assist the technician from the Marches from the day of the meeting will be composed of Assistant Coach Francesco Petrella, Scoutman Fabio Dalla Fina, Physiotherapist Luca Pirani and Athletic Trainer Lorenzo Barbieri, who has just returned from two months of work with the Korean national team.
