Petar Visic will be a Vero Volley Monza player for the 2022-2023 season. Almost two meters high, a lot of quality in the hands and effectiveness between serve and block, the Croatian setter, who completes the department of the first men’s team of the Vero Volley Consortium together with the Brazilian Cachopa, is fresh winner of the gold medal at the Mediterranean Games a few weeks ago.

CAREER AT A GLANCE
Visic was born in Split but grew up in Kastela (city), immediately approaching volleyball thanks to his mother’s passion for this sport. In the 2014-2015 season, after having completed the entire youth team, he joined the first team with Mladost Ribola Kastela, winning three Croatian league titles and a 2018 Croatian Cup, where he was awarded as the best setter of the event. In 2019-2020 he was bought by the other Croatian big club: HAOK Mladost Zagreb, winning 2 championships and 2 Croatian cups, as well as competing in the CEV Champions League and the CEV Cup. to play against Vero Volley Monza (16th final of last season), being appreciated by the Brianza Club for its qualities.

NATIONAL
Visic has been part of the Croatian senior national team since 2017, with which he won a gold medal at the Silver European League in 2018. It is in this year, however, that the new setter from Monza has so far taken more satisfaction with Croatia. After hitting the third place at the Golden European League, in fact, he led his team with his lifts to win the Mediterranean Games 2022, beating the Italy of the other Monza Di Martino in the Semifinal and Spain by 3- in the Final. 0.
