“Volley sotto il Mucrone” with Itas Trentino

The upcoming one will be a weekend of general rehearsals in view of the debut in SuperLega Credem Banca 2022/23 for Itas Trentino. On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September the Gialloblù will in fact be on stage in Biella to compete in the quadrangular called “Volley sotto il Mucrone”, which will also be attended by Cucine Lube Civitanova, Vero Volley Monza and Modena Volley.
It will be the Emilians, already faced twice during the pre-season, who will challenge the team coached by Angelo Lorenzetti during the second semifinal on Saturday at 20 (the first will be played at 17 and will see the other two teams engaged). Itas Trentino will be on the field for the first time with thirteen of the fourteen effective of the new squad (absent only libero Laurenzano) and will make the most of the double commitment (on Sunday the Final is scheduled for the 3rd Place at 3 pm and the Final for 1st place at 6 pm) to improve their game mechanisms and acquire the pace-race that at this moment only the veterans from the recent World Cup (the World Champions Lavia, Michieletto and Sbertoli and the Serbs Lisinac and Podrascanin) can boast.
On the other side of the net, Kaziyski and his teammates will find opponents with a full roster; Modena has recently embraced the Brazilian setter Bruno, after a week earlier he had done the same with Ngapeth and Lagumdizija, Monza in the middle will again have Galassi (the last athlete to return to Brianza), while Civitanova will be in full strength.
The pre-sale of tickets to access the Biella Forum during the weekend is in fact proceeding at full speed also thanks to the possibility of seeing seven fresh Italian champions playing live; in addition to the three from Trento and Galassi from Monza, there will also be Anzani, Balaso and Bottolo in the ranks of the Lube.
