WiMORE Salsomaggiore is happy to announce the return of the setter Federico Boschi and the opposite Luca Muroni, already protagonists in the Gialloblù shirt two seasons ago in Serie B. Both making their debut in A3, adding a further touch of parmigiano roster and will be a valid alternative to the diagonal formed by Leoni and Beltrami. Boschi, born on August 24, 1987 in Parma, boasts a long militancy in the national championships, above all B with Riccoboni Parma, Fiorenzuola, Piacenza, where he also played the SuperLega and Champions League fields between 2008 and 2011, Olbia, Trapani, Parella, Forlì, Busseto, Ongina, San Martino before returning to Parma, the club where he had taken his first steps, and last season still in Ongina. Now, after just one year, WiMORE has called him back to base, entrusting him, as the most expert of the group, with an important role in the locker room. “We will have to play as a team, the chain will work if everyone does their job. We will all be important, we will need to help each other to put the forwards in the best conditions. We hope to be able to bring at least half of the spectators who were at the PalaRaschi this year to Salsomaggiore, that would already be a great result”. On a personal level, the doors of the A3 Series opened for the first time at almost 36 years of age. “It was a small whim that I wanted to indulge in so as not to have any regrets, plus it was just a stone’s throw from home. I’m motivated, I hope to find my space and I believe that, in general, even those who start on the bench will be able to make their contribution. It is a very positive incipit to offer the local boys the opportunity to show off in a national championship”. A “coming home” also appreciated by Muroni, born in Parma on 13 April 1999 but always resident in Salsomaggiore Terme, who grew up as a central player in the youth sector of Energy before becoming an opposite and experiencing other significant stages between Audax and Baganzola in C , interspersed with the positive interlude at WiMORE Energy Parma among the cadets. For him a particular season as an “enfant du pays” since it will be played in “his” Salso. “It will be very exciting and, in the same way, gratifying to play in my city, the Volleyball Serie A will certainly bring about a not indifferent return of image and visibility. The building is a showpiece and, in the long run, the Salsa public can be our extra man”. And he will find coach Alberto Raho on the bench, who has already guided him in the past between the youth sector, beach volleyball, Serie C and for a short time also in Serie B.
