ErmGroup Pallavolo San Giustino completes the team of spikers on the band with the arrival of Salvatore Cozzolino, born in 2003 and 193 centimeters tall. A native of Pompeii, in Campania, Cozzolino moved to the Marche region with his family after a very short time and has practically always lived in Fano. He began practicing volleyball with Apav Lucrezia, then he spent two years at Montesi Pesaro and the following two years saw him as a soldier in the ranks of Lube Civitanova, playing in the youth championships and in Serie C. He then moved to Fano in A3 , even if he was an important player in the Under 19 team and in the team that won Serie D. In the last two seasons he wore the Loreto shirt in Serie B and in the first of them he played in the Junior League again with Lube . Now the transfer outside the region has arrived, even if close to home and with the possibility of making his debut in A3. “The call from San Giustino – said Cozzolino – was a sort of bolt from the blue, because it is a Serie A square anyway. An acknowledgment of the professional behavior that I have always maintained and of a life so far lived for volleyball. Furthermore, a competitive team was set up in San Giustino, so the stimuli that accompany me are very high and for me, I won’t deny it, it is also a source of personal pride”.
