After almost a month of preparation, the first indicative seasonal tests arrive for ErmGroup San Giustino. The first joint away training session against Banca Macerata of new coach Maurizio Castellano, ambitious opponent of the biancazzurri in the Blue group of the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship, is scheduled for 5pm on Wednesday 13 September. The potential from a physical point of view is there, the group is responding well and I see people who want to try: Mirko Monaldi’s and mine feel and that the boys have understood that they were strongly wanted: therefore having this awareness, they want try to leave a mark over the entire year. Next Saturday in Bologna we will also begin to see what is not good: we will need to have an even clearer and clearer perception of what will be the basis from which we will start, but we will do it with serenity, because we know that the physical loads to which the team has been subjected to in this period are very important and it is therefore understandable that something may not succeed as desired. On the other hand, when there is significant physical work the technique suffers, even if we are faced with a talent.” And in the meantime, you will once again meet a contender for the higher category. “We are going to Macerata with the full squad to compete against a strong team, which boasts a top-level diagonal and with lateral spikers coming down from A2. For us a stimulus and an excellent test to measure ability and condition”, concluded Bartolini.
