WiMORE Salsomaggiore announces the confirmation of spiker Fabrizio Ferraguti, who will defend the yellow and blue colors for the third year in a row, the second in Serie A3. Born on April 13, 1995 in Modena but Parmesan doc, Ferraguti was a great promise of swimming at a youth level so much so that in 2014 he won the silver medal in the 4×100 medley relay and fourth place in the individual 100m backstroke at the Italian Junior Championships . In 2016, at the age of 21, the transition to volleyball at Eureka in C before the experiences between Energy, again Eureka and Audax which preceded the two-year period at WiMORE, in which he stood out, albeit as a supporting actor at debut in the category, first in Serie B, above all, in the second round then in some matches of the last League championship such as at the home of the leaders Fano in the Regular Season and Macerata in the Play Offs and scoring the final points in Belluno and with Macerata itself at the PalaRaschi. Now the opportunity to make a further leap in quality always in the team of his city. “I was struck by the new project that fascinated me, I didn’t think too much about it and I consider myself very happy with the choice. In my first season in A3 I managed to gain some experience thanks to my teammates who taught me many things and also in terms of commitment it was tougher than the previous year in Serie B”.

How would you present the Parma club to new signings?

“Parma is a city that has an important volleyball history, last year we even slightly relived it at the PalaRaschi with the huge public that came to see and support us. We have a great responsibility, this is one of the reasons why I decided to stay”.

What do you expect from next season on a personal level?

“In recent months I definitely feel improved from a technical point of view, I’m ready and available to the group if needed. I always put individual performances in the background in favor of the overall result of the team, I would also be delighted to score zero points this season if we were to then reach our set goals”.
