WiMORE Parma’s two consecutive away wins over Montecchio Maggiore and Brugherio delivered mathematical salvation in the national Serie A3 Credem Banca championship with a good four days to spare and, above all, fueled the hope of being able to reach the Play Offs, now distant just one length. A decision will be made on Sunday afternoon at 6 pm at PalaRaschi, the scene of the direct confrontation with Da Rold Logistics Belluno, ahead by two points and currently in fifth place in a short classification that can change its face from one week to the next. One of the strengths in the Gialloblù ranks is the centre-back Bara Fall, the best in his role in terms of scoring in the entire A3 Series with 223 balls placed on the ground, who positively archives the 3-1 trimmed in Brugherio. “Sunday we didn’t give up, they played well but we too played our good game maintaining a constant level for all four sets”.

In what conditions do you arrive at the direct confrontation with Belluno?

“We arrive energized and aware that it is very important, it could be our last chance to enter the Play Offs because the one with Belluno is the last direct confrontation we have. We know that we are playing at home and so maybe we will have this small crowd advantage, we hope to play a great game. They certainly won’t give anything away, they are a great team: it will be a “war”, a fight”.

How much do you believe in the Play Offs?

“We believe it, we want to go. The goal of salvation has already been achieved, this is a dream, a beautiful thing. We would like to do them then it depends on us ”.

Do you feel like making an appeal to the PalaRaschi audience?

“I wish there were a lot of people, a good number of people always come to support us at home, but on Sunday the public can be the seventh man. Let’s hope that the arena fills up like us because this is truly the decisive match”.

Did you expect a season at these levels?

“I take the field to give my best to the team match after match, if they had asked me at the beginning of the season I would have said no, but I always take the field every Sunday to do my best”.

Where does the new exultation come from?

“This is a new celebration, I got it from the NBA from Mikal Bridges of the Brooklyn Nets. It’s about pointing your hand showing the three fingers and moving your head, it’s a fun thing to do with your mates after a few good points ”.
