International happening in the red and white preseason in a facility with over 4,000 seats. The Jesi Volley Cup, the first edition of the quadrangular tournament scheduled for 14 and 15 October at the PalaTriccoli in Jesi, will see the Cucine Lube Civitanova play the second semi-final at 8.30pm on Saturday 14 October against Olympiakos Piraeus, the winning team of the 2022 Greek top division /23 and the Challenge Cup 2023. The match will be preceded by the first Semi-final, on the scoreboard at 5.30 pm, between Allianz Milano and Rana Verona, teams that were protagonists of great performances in the last SuperLega season. The following day, Sunday 15 October, the battle for the 3rd place (3pm) and the showdown for the final victory (6pm) of the event organized by Jesi Volley & Sport will take place.
The calendar and details of the event were revealed this morning in a press conference at Palazzo Pianetti in Jesi. For Lube Volley, in addition to the vice president Albino Massaccesi, sitting in the front row, there was the general director Beppe Cormio, among the speakers on stage. His enthusiasm is evident: “The athletes on the pitch will excite the spectators – exclaimed the red and white director -. I have to compliment the organizers because they brought together four teams with at least 22 or 23 stars from the international scene. It’s not easy to see so many top athletes in 48 hours, the high level is guaranteed. This is a great chance for Jesi and for the Marche region. On a sporting level, it is a great opportunity for Lube, who will test their form a few days before their seasonal debut in the SuperLega Credem Banca”.
