Another homecoming: for the 2023/24 season of the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship, the middle blocker department of Gamma Chimica Brugherio is enriched by the presence of Mirco Compagnoni, the rosanero born in 2003.

202 centimeters tall, after taking his first steps in Castiglione delle Stiviere in Mantova, Mirco arrives at the headquarters of the Diavoli Rosa where he becomes one of the pivots of the winning Diavoli-Powervolley project. The successes come immediately for the centre-back, among all the under 19 national bronze medal in the 2021/22 season, the victory of the U20 Junior League, an experience lived together with the spiker Matteo Meschiari with whom he will also share next season in the rosanero jersey, and who returns to live this season with exceptional silver. Meanwhile Mirco also wears the blue shirt with which, in the summer of 2022, he wins the U22 European championships.

Solid with the block and explosive in attack, Mirco has already tasted Serie A, first with Gamma Chimica Brugherio in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, then enlisted in A2 by Lupi Santa Croce, an important season that saw Mirco carve out space on the pitch also in the Semifinal for promotion to the Superlega.

Mirco is ready to be an increasingly leading actor, which is why he has chosen to focus on Brugherio, to take the stage in this “back home”.

Compagnoni’s choice in the words of DS Quintieri: “We are delighted to be able to embrace Mirco again, whom we had the pleasure of seeing again on the pitch with our jersey a few weeks ago in the Junior League. Mirco is a young talent, with a great perspective, very incisive in serving and with important blocking skills. The year of experience in Santa Croce has certainly made him grow and now he is ready to demonstrate all his value on the pitch”.

Greetings from Mirco Compagnoni: “It was easy to accept the Diavoli’s proposal not only because the club wanted me badly but above all because the project behind next season is very attractive both in terms of results and for my personal growth. The company’s ambitions, like mine, are great and I look forward to being able to fulfill them. For those who have already experienced the Diavoli world, they know how important their fans are, which is why the last farewell is all for them, for the Rosanero fans, who I can’t wait to meet again at the arena”.

Welcome back Mirco!!!
